Incident History
AWS Primary Region (us-east-1) Outage
CriticalCascading AWS infrastructure failure in us-east-1 region caused complete platform outage. DynamoDB DNS failures led to EC2/Lambda issues and NLB network connectivity problems. All core services impacted: Seller Portal, warehouse operations, SQS processing. External order ingestion restored at 11:00 GMT (4 hours). Recovery complicated by AWS Console access loss, Slack degradation, and large SQS message backlog. Full restoration after 16 hours.
